Shel: A travel day, but not a lot of miles, some slow going through a resort area and narrower roads. Only did about 350 miles. A note about the hills here in California - they have a lot of 6 and 7% grades. In one spot in one of the Redwood parks, they actuall had a 15% grade. Luckily I didn't have to pull the trailer up a 15% grade. We are now headed toward Salt Lake City, with a possible stop in Virginia City and / or Reno BTW - so far we've gone 5027 miles!

Geni: I guess I haven't spent enough time at the shore because I didn't realize what the sun can do to a view. This is the same spot that we came to yesterday and I couldn't believe how breathtaking the view was today. The grey sky and water is a magnificent blue. So glad I got to see it. Just drove all day and will continue tomorrow going through Nevada and into Utah..
