Sheldon and Geni's 2010 Camping Trip
Today is: October 7
We are in: Tempe, AZ - near Phoenix
Shel: Got up this morning and headed from Kingman through the desert to Phoenix. We are staying in the Apache Palms campground in Tempe, AZ. In the desert we started seeing cactus and Joshua trees. Got into the campground and set up camp. Then we went to visit Florence and Gordon - friends of mine that move here from Billerica in 1982 or 83. Had a wonderful dinner and came back to the camper to crash - really tired

We drove down one section of road that was straight as an arrow for 13 miles! This section was only about 8 miles long
