It never rain in southern California - bullshit! It rain on and off most of the day. It rained last Friday and even some rain on Saturday!

Got up and took the truck down to the GMC dealer and hung around while they diagnosed the tranny - internal damage. They had to take it out and rebuild it. Luckily all the parts needed are in town and they feel they will have it ready tomorrow morning. Hopefully we will continue our trip tomorrow by heading to Arizona.

Geni went over and helped Barbara pack for moving. Then we took the rental car and went to visit Geni's cousin, Cheryl

Geni: can you tell the car's problems put a negative spin on his San Diego visit? Actually, today was a really drizzly, rainy day, but every other day turned into sunny days. As you can see by the pics, we are done with sightseeing in San Diego and just spent time visiting, which was great. All in all, if we had to have a breakdown, it happened at a good place.
