Since yesterday was so overcast, we wanted to take Kara somewhere where we could see some beautiful views and some waterfalls. We went to Tryon, a few towns over, on the recommendation of AAA Tour book. Shel's GPS took him all over the place, once again, taking us on a little adventure. This one was on a 12 mile loop that took us back where we started -- still lost!! Another wrong turn brought us to South Carolina where the gas was $2.98 so we had to stop to fill up.

The falls that the book talked about was not memorable but the view was incredible. We went up a mountain on hairpin turns about 3,000 feet up. There were actually homes and condos way up there as well. What a view.

Kara found us a great restaurant in Charlotte with the urbanspoon app on her phone and then we dropped her off at the airport. It was great having her share in our adventures! We laughed alot while we argued about which way to go!!
