Shel: Hung around a while in the morning, which was different for us. When in Woodridge, I always visit the cemetary where my parents and brother are buried. Went to Bethel, NY, the site of Woodstock. When asked if I had ever been there before, I said well, yeah - 1969. Toured the Threads exhibit, and then the msuseum and grounds of Bethel Woods which is now a center for the arts. Enjoyed another fine dinner out. Geni: Finally got to Woodstock! it was interesting to read about all the information the museum gathered about the 60's - politics, fashion, entertainment. There were a few short videos, a longer film, and lots of memoribilia. The Treads Exhibit was a display of clothing some of the rock stars wore. The area is all built up, providing a beautiful center for lots of activities. |
