This is our first day of whale watching here. We had to go through the salt flats, This area is a huge producer of salt. 90% is used commercially and the rest used in Mexico.

Went whale watching at a UNESCO site (Mario's Tours). Watched a short video. About half an hour ride through town and by the salt fields to the boat dock. Had to motor to mouth of the lagoon in order to see the whales who stay in this area to mate and have babies. It was a beautiful sunny day and the whales came right around us and to the boats we were in. I was able to touch the whales 3 times. It was exciting and awesome to be so close to them. Walked around a few shops with Dawn, Lindsay and Robin. Margheritas at night at Mario's restaurant and almost everyone showed up a few at a time. Sam/Shel/Avi went to Tony's for dinner. Wonderful day all around.
