Shel: After all the traffic and the mobs of people in Yellowstone, we decided to head home. We usually vacation in September after all the little children are back in school and now we know why. This isn't great timing to be in South Dakota as this is motocycle week in Sturgis.

Geni: Was sorry not to be able to spend more time in Yellowstone, but road conditions were really bad and since we've been here before, we decided to go. Sometimes it works out for the best because we are now on the other side of Sturgis. Passing through Sturgis, I saw more than a few hundred motorcycles on the road and it's only tuesday! Tomorrow, when we leave early while they are sleeping, we won't see them going our way! But there should be more coming toward the town from the other direction. Staying at Walmart Hilton in Rapid City with quite a few other campers.
